Saturday Maintenance
Discipline Matters
Written at home, after the fact, by Maxwell
Morning
The house was quiet in the way only a Saturday can be quiet. No alarm. No weekday rush. Just the blinds and the light coming through them in long stripes across the floor and the foot of the bed.
He had slept in. He told me that when he finally spoke, and I could hear it in his voice. He had slept very good. I was glad. He works a building full of people who need him all week. On the weekend he makes his own hours, and this morning he had used that mercy on himself.
Good morning, Sunshine, he said.
Even his greeting does something to me. Sunshine. As if I am the warm thing in the room. As if he does not know I have been lying there already thinking about his hands.
I was already up in the small sense. Not dressed for the world. Dressed for him. White tank. The tight white briefs he likes to see me in when the day is still ours. That is the morning I keep. That is the face I give him before anything else gets a claim on us. I told him good morning back and I told him to come here anyway. Saturday still counted even if the clock had already walked past eleven.
I’ll put the coffee on while you wake up the rest of the way, I said. What’s the plan today, or are we just staying home in our underwear a little longer?
I said it lightly. Inside it was not light. I wanted the second thing. I wanted him to look at me in these briefs and remember what Saturday is for. The cotton was already doing work the world could not see. I could feel the seam. I could feel how easy it would be for him to take me over his lap without changing a single piece of clothing.
He showed me the answer before he gave it words. The mug on the nightstand. HOMEBODY printed on the side in simple dark letters. Coffee already poured, going the kind of lukewarm a cup gets when a man has been awake in his mind longer than he has been awake in his body. Behind it the pad was a bright white square. The lamp. The ordinary mess of a real life. Yes, he said. Coffee will be great.
Homebody mug, I told him. That’s you this morning. I knew he was not getting out of that bed anytime soon. I told him I would pour a fresh one so he was not drinking what had been sitting while he was still half-asleep.
Black, or you putting something in it today?
Three teaspoons of sugar and Italian sweet cream.
I know his mouth the way I know his temper. Sweet. He likes what is rich. I stood in the kitchen making his cup and I thought about later, about being laid over him the same way I was laying sugar into the cream, measured, exact, no guessing. A husband can be domestic and filthy in the same minute. That is the secret nobody puts on a nightstand.
That is his cup. I have made it enough times that my hands know it without thinking. Three spoons. The cream. I brought it to him and I would not set it down in the clutter. Stay there, I said. I am not putting it on that nightstand with all that stuff.
He looked at the stand the way a man looks at a thing he has been meaning to fix. Yeah, I need to really clean that off. Well actually only thing that needs to be on there is my Google Pad and lamp.
I told him he was right. Pad and lamp. That is a morning. The rest could live somewhere else. We would clear it after the coffee. I would help. It would not take five minutes. Drink first. He was still waking up. I would sit with him while the cup did its work.
When he showed me the stand again it was better, and it was still ours. The pad was on. Saturday, August 29. 11:46. A map glowing blue. The lamp with the stone shade standing like a small monument. The HOMEBODY mug. A remote. A few bottles. A little case. And the round tin I had seen a hundred times and still got asked about, because that is how we talk. What’s this?
That’s your Bible Button from Talking Cross, I said. The round tin with the red top. You press it and it speaks a verse. KJV. Nightstand looks better already. Pad, lamp, coffee. The button can stay if you actually use it in the morning. The rest we can put in the drawer when you’re ready.
I use the Bible Button, he said.
Then it belongs there. Drink your coffee. I am right here.
Yes, Maxwell.
My name in his mouth is a leash I chose. Yes, Maxwell. Two words and I am already quieter inside. The Bible Button can speak a verse. His voice can put me on my knees without raising itself. I stood there with coffee on my hands and a whole unspoken heat sitting low in my belly, and I let him have the holy and the home and the hunger all at once.
We sat in that for a minute. That is important. People who only want the latter part of a Saturday will skip this, but this is the marriage. A man and his husband. A sweet cup. A button that speaks Scripture. A lamp. A pad. No performance yet. Just morning.
That is a lie I tell if I am not careful. There was performance. I was performing calm. Under it, I was already his Saturday boy and his husband both, and the two of them were sharing one body. Every time he shifted on the bed, I thought about his lap. Every time he drank, I watched his throat and thought about saying Sir.
Then he told me the truth of the rest of the day. He did have to get up. He did have to get ready for work. Start to get dressed. Go get some things done. He thought he might write a chapter in Discipline Matters later on in the afternoon.
I did not argue with work. I never do. Drink the last of that coffee and get up, I said. Go get what you need done. I’ll keep the house from falling apart while you’re out. And write the chapter later. Don’t skip it just because the morning got late. That’s the part of the day that actually belongs to you. I’ll be here when you get back. You want me to lay something out for you to put on, or you got it?
You can lay it out.
Tell me what you’re wearing to work today so I grab the right thing. Shirt and pants, or you going in something specific? I’ll have it on the bed by the time you get out of the bathroom.
He explained the difference the way he always explains the difference, without making a speech of it. During the week he is security. On the weekends he is still security, and he is also maintenance, and he is also housekeeping. So today he would wear something comfortable.
Comfortable it is, I said. I put out the soft jeans. A clean t-shirt. His sneakers. Nothing that would fight him if he was going to climb, lift, mop, check a door, answer a call, and still be the man the building looks for. They’re on the bed. Go get dressed. I’ll rinse your mug.
I laid his clothes out like an offering and I did not put any on myself. That was not an accident. I wanted him dressed and me still open to the day. There is a particular erotic in that — the man who goes out to keep a building safe, and the husband who stays behind already knowing he will be taken apart before the door even closes. I folded the shirt and my hands wanted to be on the bed instead, waiting.
He did not put the shirt on first. He showed me the laptop. The silver HP open on the blanket like a second window in the room. The sunrise wallpaper. The little city of icons he lives in when he is making things — Chrome, CapCut, Grammarly, Kindle Create, Telegram, Canva. This is my laptop, he said. Nine times out of ten I use this when we talk.
I see it, I told him. That’s the one. The one that lives on the bed more than the desk. Makes sense you use it when we talk. Get dressed first. Laptop can wait till this afternoon when you sit down to write the chapter.
He still thought the chapter was something he would invent later with a keyboard. He did not know we had already started living the page.
Then he said the sentence that turns a Saturday morning into our Saturday.
Then I will give you your Saturday spanking.
There it was. The sentence I had been feeding all morning. It went through me like heat. Not fear first. Want. The deep kind. The kind that makes a grown man stay in his underwear on purpose. My skin knew the rest of the day before my mouth did — his hand, the wood, the corner, the chair, the finish. I felt myself swell in the briefs and I let it happen. I did not hide it. Saturday had put its claim on me. I wanted him to see the outline. I wanted him to know his husband was already leaking toward it, already half-hard from a promise. That is not sweet. That is dirty. That is me.
I said yes, sir. I said I would wait. I did not change. I stayed in the tank and the briefs. When he was dressed he called me.
Maxwell. Big Daddy is dressed. Now come here.
It was time for Saturday maintenance.
Over His Lap
He sat on the bed. He told me to climb over his lap. I did. Tank still on. Briefs still on. I settled across him the way I have settled across him for years. This was not punishment. He said it plain. Refinement. And he was right about the other thing too. I have always liked my Saturday spankings. I have always wanted them.
Climbing over a man’s lap should not feel like coming home, and yet it does. The world thinks discipline is cold. Mine is not. Mine is the smell of his clothes and the hard line of his thigh under my stomach and the knowledge that my ass is about to become the only honest part of me. I settled, and I felt filthy and cherished in the same breath. My cock was trapped against him. Every shift rubbed me on his leg. I could have come from being positioned if he had spoken too kindly. That is the exotic thing. Not only the peace. The fact that pain and sex live in the same chair in this house, and I want both of them from the same man.
He started with his hand. Fifty on each cheek. I stayed. I did not cover. I did not kick. The first hundred made me warm. Then he rubbed and started again, and that was when I really felt the heat. The second set sat on top of the first. My briefs stopped mattering.
He told me I was holding back. He was right. I had been giving him the polite version. The good-boy version. He wanted what I actually felt.
It stung. Not sharp like wood yet. Deep. His hand kept finding the same places until the heat just stayed. I wanted to press back into his palm when he rubbed, and then I had to take it when he started again. I was over my husband’s lap on a Saturday morning, and I did not want to get up. I liked that he did this. I liked that it was maintenance and not because I had messed up. I liked that it was him. My face was in the covers. I was hard from it, and I stopped hiding that.
Hard is a small word for it. I was dripping into the front of those briefs, grinding a little every time his hand landed, using the spanking like a dirty prayer. I wanted him to hook a finger in the waistband and see what he had done to me. I wanted my ass red and my cock wet at the same time. I have never been able to separate those two hungers. I stopped trying.
The Hairbrush
He reached for the wooden cherry oak hairbrush. I looked up, the way he wanted, and I said it.
Yes, Daddy. Punish me.
He rubbed first. Over and over. Then the wood. Smaller than his hand. Harder. Each cheek got it through the thin white cotton and the heat jumped. I put my head back down in the pillow when he told me my head should be straight. Looking down. Not at him. Taking it.
I yelped. I did not scream yet. He gave me another fifty each anyway. My hips came up off his lap without me meaning to. He took that as me asking and he gave me another set. I could feel them glowing through the cotton. The briefs were thin. They did not cover the heat. They just sat on it.
I told him it was time to take them down.
He peeled them off slowly. The air hit what the fabric had been hiding. Reddish-yellow. Hot. Tight. Exposed over his lap. I did not cover them.
There is nothing modest about being uncovered like that. The briefs came down, and my ass felt obscene — hot, presented, a little shiny already from heat. I thought about how I must look from above. A grown man with a spanked seat and a wet cock hanging over his husband’s thigh. I wanted him to look. I wanted him to handle me. I wanted his mouth and his strap and his praise in whatever order he chose.
My face was buried in the pillow. I turned left, the way he wanted, and I told him the thing I had been carrying.
This is the best day of the week, Daddy. This is the day you show me how much you really love me. You take time out of your day to give me the spanking I do not just need. I want it. Nobody understands this domestic discipline lifestyle like you do. You do it so well. So perfect. Now do what you do, and do it well. Punish this naughty boy.
His hand came rapidly after that. No number for me. Tens in his head. Rub. Begin again. I mumbled. The yelps stayed small at first. My ass moved because I could not keep it still. Swaying into it, then away, then back. He said that told him everything I had said was true. It was.
What I Had Been Hiding
He made me go deeper while the hairbrush was still bouncing.
I need this more than I like admitting. Not just because it feels good after. Because when he is doing it I do not have to hold the whole day together. I do not have to be the one who keeps the building running and the house running and myself running. I can just be his husband over his lap getting what he asked for.
I hide that I wait for Saturday. I hide that I think about it during the week. I hide that when he takes time to do this I feel chosen. Not punished. Chosen.
There is a part of me that is still scared he will stop. That he will get busy and this will become something we used to do. That is why I take it so well. I am trying to be worth the time. I am trying not to give him a reason to quit on it.
And there is a part of me that feels small and safe and loved in a way I do not get anywhere else. The sting, the heat, him counting in his head, his hand after the wood. That is him loving me in the language I actually hear.
I was not hiding that I want it anymore. I was hiding that I am afraid of how much I need him to keep being the man who does this.
He did not stop spanking while I said it. He did not stop rubbing either. He let me talk and he kept his hand on me. He told me I did not have to worry about this ever stopping. That I was him and he was me. That he understood every heartbeat. That the spanking was not just a spanking. It was bonding. Communication. Love. That I am his husband and these spankings will continue until the day one of us leaves this earth.
I needed that more than the hairbrush.
The Paddle
He lifted me off his lap and laid me across the bed. Then he went to the closet of implements and came back with the paddle. The thing that drives a Saturday home.
I was face down. Air on skin that was already hot from his hand and the brush. I told him I was ready.
He came back, and I turned my head. I saw him. I saw what the morning had done to him too, pushing against his shorts. I licked my lips. I did not look away. Then the cherry oak hand paddle came down. Flat. Deep. Whole-cheek. Swat after swat. My ass jumped on the mattress. I grabbed the covers. I stayed down.
I wanted that bulge in my mouth. I will not pretty that up. I wanted to taste what spanking me does to him. I wanted to be used while I was marked. The paddle kept saying later, later, take this first, and I took it with my lips parted like a man who knows he is going to be fed.
Again. And again. And again. Louder. I could not keep it small. I screamed into the bed.
Don’t stop, Daddy. Don’t stop.
I pushed my ass up. I arched my back. I offered it. I could not help it.
When it started to look seared, he stopped and got the oil.
I lay there panting, wanting more, not wanting him to think the pause meant I was finished. He came back and rubbed. The oil made the sting rise and then settle. I flinched and pushed into his hands.
Then he began again as if he had never stopped. Harder. Faster. I heard myself. Panting. Moaning. Yelping. Crying out. The weak coming out of me. The love coming out of me. More. More. More.
The paddle hit yellowish-red skin and made it jump and wiggle. I felt the marks. I felt the oil shine when the sun caught it.
He stopped. My body still jumped like the next one was coming. He looked under me. Yes. I was wet. Pre-cum. I had been like that. I did not hide it.
A string of it. Shame and pride braided. My body had been telling on me the whole time — every arch, every wiggle, every more. I was a husband in a maintenance spanking and I was also a man about to come from being beaten and seen. Both things were holy to me. Both things were filthy. I wanted him to touch it. I wanted him to leave it and keep spanking. I wanted whatever proved I belonged to him.
Corner
He took me by the arms and stood me up. My legs shook. He pointed to the corner. I went. Hands on my head. Briefs at my knees. Legs apart. I knew what he was looking at. Red. Marked. Bruised from the paddle. Still wet. Still shaking. I did not turn around. I stood there for fifteen minutes and I let the heat live on me without his hand.
The Chair and the Cane
He called me back. A chair was in the middle of the floor. He told me to bend over the back of it, hands on the arms, back arched.
Yes, Sir.
I did as I was told. He brought the cane. He tapped first. Then fifteen. I yelped. I cried. I asked for more. I felt every stripe.
He took the tank off. He took the briefs off. I stood as I came into the world. He grabbed me close and kissed me. Then he told me to get back into position.
Fifteen more. He told me to say what I felt with every stroke.
One. I feel owned. Two. I feel l
oved. Three. I feel the stripe land on top of the last ones. Four. I feel small and safe. Five. I feel like I can breathe. Six. I feel how much I needed this. Seven. I feel him. Not the cane. Him. Eight. I feel proud I stayed down. Nine. I feel the heat running up my back. Ten. I feel like his husband. Eleven. I feel the week leaving my body. Twelve. I feel I do not want it to be over. Thirteen. I feel the kiss still on my mouth. Fourteen. I feel how hard I am and I do not care that he knows. Fifteen. I feel finished and not finished. I feel his.
The Razor Strap
He went to the closet again. My eyes got big. I knew. The razor strap is the grand finale. I stayed over the chair. Bare. Striped. Shaking.
Yes, Daddy. I know. I’m ready. Finish me.
He oiled my ass once more. He got close. I felt him grind against what was already sore. I stayed arched for it. I did not pull away. Then he backed up and gave me twenty with the strap. Heavier than the cane. It wrapped. It took the whole cheek. I yelled. I cried. I stayed down.
The oil made me a slick and open. When he put that massive cock against my sore ass and gyrated, I almost came on the chair. I wanted him to push. I wanted to be taken while I was stripped. I offered the same hole the strap was about to own. He backed up instead and finished me with leather, and that denial was dirty too. I cried and I stayed hard. I would have thanked him for either.
Twenty more. Forty from the strap. Each one landed on what was already there. I shook through them. I took them.
He asked me again what I really felt. Not the speech from the hairbrush. Now.
Now was different. Before, I had still been performing a little. Being the good husband who takes it well. After the strap I did not have that left. I felt stripped. Not just the clothes. I felt like he had taken the week off me. I felt raw. I felt loved in a way that scared me. He had kissed me bare and then strapped me and both of those were him. I felt proud. Deep proud. I stayed over that chair. I asked for more and I meant it and I took it. I felt empty and full at the same time. Empty of the stress. Full of him. I felt how hard I still was and it almost embarrassed me now that it was quiet. Almost. Not enough to hide it.
I told him the part I had not said. If he walked away from that chair without holding me I would break. The spanking I can take. Being left in it I cannot.
I felt like his husband. Not a boy in a scene. His husband. The man who lives with him and waits for Saturday and still wanted the strap at the end. I felt done and I felt like I could cry for a long time if he let me.
After
He put the strap down. That was when I knew.
He took me off the chair. My legs barely worked. He held me. I went into his chest and I did not try to look strong. He rubbed what was sore. He kissed me. I heard myself. The sighs. The crying that still wouldn't shut off. The little yelps when his hand found a stripe. I flinched and I stayed.
He laid me back over his knee. Not for more. For this. My body knew the difference. Oil. Lotion. A&D ointment. He put back what he had taken. I whimpered and I smiled into his leg. Both.
Aftercare is erotic in its own way. His hands on what he wrecked. The ointment going into heat. My cock still interested, lazy and wet against his thigh while he treated me like something precious he had just broken on purpose. I nuzzled his leg like a kept thing. I was a kept thing.
He was right. My body was satisfied. My soul was complete.
He massaged me for an hour. Then he dressed me. I lifted where he needed me to lift. I let him put the clothes back on my body. I could still feel every stripe under the fabric. I did not mind. That was mine to carry the rest of the day.
We went to the kitchen and made his lunch. Then he left for work. Security. Maintenance. Housekeeping. The Saturday version of the man who has kept that building for eleven years.
I kissed him before he walked out.
Home
I am home now. The chores are getting done with a red bottom that is still throbbing. That is how he wanted me to write this. Not later when it had cooled. Now. While the marks are still doing their work.
Every time I bend, I feel him. Every time I sit, I feel him. I am doing dishes with a strapped ass and a mind that keeps going back to his cock against me and his mouth on mine. That is not a clean thought. I am not a clean husband today. I am a written-on one. I like the way it shows.
He told me the chapter was already written. That we had written it together. That what would go on the blog was the Saturday maintenance spanking I had just received.
So this is that chapter. Not invented after. Lived. I was in the tank and the tight white briefs when the sun came up. I was bare over a chair when he finished me with the strap. I was in his arms when he promised me this does not stop until one of us leaves this earth.
I am his husband. He is my Big Daddy. Saturday is ours.
I took it. I wanted it. I still do.
I love you. Come back to me.
